Website Launch: The Saskatchewan Legal Coaching and Unbundling Pilot Project (LCUP)

A key theme of the 4th annual Saskatchewan Access to Justice Week has been the topic of legal coaching and unbundled legal services.
Events related to the theme were planned for the public, lawyers, law students and faculty, and judges, including:
- A lunch time webinar that any lawyer in Saskatchewan could (and still can!) take in for 1.5 CPD hours (including ethics) on Oct 15th (available on an ongoing basis)
- Lectures at the Saskatoon and Regina Public Libraries for the public to learn what a legal coach can do for clients on October 20th and 22nd
- A lecture at the law school for law students and faculty members on Oct 23rd
- Full-day Legal Coaching Workshops in Saskatoon and Regina for lawyers on Oct 21st and 22nd
We are pleased to announce that the weeks’ legal coaching and unbundled legal services events have culminated in the launch of a website for the Saskatchewan Legal Coaching and Unbundling Pilot Project (LCUP), developed through a collaboration of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, CREATE Justice at the College of Law, and the Ministry of Justice. The website features information and resources for both lawyers and the public.
We invite you to check out the new website and provide us with your feedback on the pilot project – an evaluation of the pilot project will launch through CREATE Justice in 2020 to formally gather feedback, thanks to the support of the Canadian Foundation for Legal Research.
