The New Saskatchewan Builders’ Lien Manual is Now Available
September 26, 2022We are pleased to announce the publication of the third edition of the Saskatchewan Builders’ Lien Manual. This edition is a collaboration between Collin Hirschfeld, K.C., author of the 2014 edition, and Jared D. Epp.
The new version of the text has been in the works for some time. Earlier this year, the Act was amended extensively with the coming into force of new prompt payment and statutory adjudication provisions. The authors provide a valuable introduction to the new Act and its impact on construction litigation.
For the first time, Chapter 7 consists of commentary on every section that has been considered by a Saskatchewan court; effectively, an annotated Builders’ Lien Act.
