This practical plain-language manual assists legal counsel and their Indigenous clients in building Gladue submissions. In this session, participants will become familiar with the purpose of the Guide, its contents, and potential guiding questions to help prepare effective Gladue submissions with their clients.
In addition, participants will also be provided information on the supplementary Gladue Rights Research Database, an ever-evolving and open-access resource designed to assist lawyers, judges, report writers, and researchers build effective Gladue Submissions and Reports.
