Symposium on Global 2SLGBTQI+ Legal Advocacy

This three-day symposium will feature global experts sharing experiences, strategies and approaches on topics ranging from the interactions of law, culture and civil society to strategic litigation affecting queer and trans people worldwide. The symposium is hosted by the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in partnership with the LGBT Purge Fund with support from the Manitoba Law Foundation, the Canadian Journal of Human Rights, and the Robson Hall Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba.

Ojigìjowewin Legal Symposium
October 21-23, 2025
Carleton University will host a three-day symposium with the theme “Addressing False Claims of Indigeneity through Indigenous Legal Orders and Laws of the Land”. The symposium will provide a collaborative space to share knowledge, discuss solutions, and develop strategies for respectful and effective responses to Indigenous identity fraud.

The 31st Annual Saskatchewan Labour Law Review
October 22 – 23, 2025
The Centre for Labour-Management Development will host a two-day conference at TCU Place in Saskatoon, available both in person and via live stream. This conference will highlight the year’s most significant labour law developments and their impact on Saskatchewan unions and employers.
