In collaboration with the Lawyers Assistance Program of British Columbia, the Alberta Lawyers’ Assistance Society, and Lawyer Strong Manitoba, legal professionals from across Western Canada are invited to participate in a one-hour webinar, focusing on the importance of rest and sleep in the legal profession and how the perfection-driven culture of law often leads to chronic rest deficits and health challenges.

Visit the registration website for details.

Democracy, the Rule of Law, and Independence
November 18–20, 2025

The Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice (CIAJ) will host its annual multidisciplinary event bringing together legal, political, and social stakeholders to explore the principles of democratic societies. Participants will examine the challenges posed by declining public trust, rising authoritarianism, and threats to transparency and accountability, while identifying strategies to strengthen confidence in legal institutions.

The conference features a bilingual program with simultaneous interpretation, offering both in-person and online participation options.

For more information and registration details, please visit the CIAJ website.

Saskatchewan Administrative Tribunals Association (SATA) Half-Day Virtual Conference
