The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been fast and furious, with many legal professionals learning on the fly. Feeling left behind or playing catch-up?

Join Joshua Weaver, Director of the Texas Opportunity and Justice Incubator, for this engaging and approachable AI primer and workshop. The morning focuses on the fundamentals. In the afternoon, Josh guides participants through practical applications, a hands-on prompt engineering workshop, and participant-led Q&A with advice for your practice.

Craig Zawada, K.C., also joins to discuss the Law Society of Saskatchewan’s Guidelines for the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in the Practice of Law.

AI skills and knowledge you’ll learn in this workshop:

  • Understand the core functions and principles of technologies such as ChatGPT.
  • Discover popular GenAI tools, their applications, and their impact in legal contexts.
  • Develop strategies to integrate GenAI tools into legal workflows for better efficiency and decision-making.
  • Create effective prompts–crucial for optimizing the use of GenAI tools in the legal field.
