News Release: QBRA 2021 Edition Available Later This Month

June 9, 2021

We are pleased to announce that the Saskatchewan Queen’s Bench Rules Annotated 2021 will be available the week of June 21.

Publication of the new edition was delayed twice in anticipation of the revisions to Part 15. The book includes the draft new rules as they existed on March 1, 2021. Please note that there have been further amendments to the Family Law Rules since our print deadline, and practitioners should watch for the official version in the Gazette. The online version will be updated quarterly.

The QBRA 2021 includes:

  • Case law current to December 31, 2020
  • September 1, 2020 updates regarding appearance day applications, civil contempt of court, etc.
  • October 1, 2020 updates to Part 4 regarding binding pre-trial conferences
  • Tariff of Costs updated to December 4, 2020

The online QBRA 2021 will be available to all members in our Member Resource Section from June 21 until August 31, 2021.

For the first time, every purchase of the print edition will include a year-long subscription to the online edition (beginning September 1). Also available are subscriptions to the online edition alone:

  • $250 for print plus online
  • $75 for online only

Also for the first time, you must now place your order through the Law Society of Saskatchewan shop. When the publications are available, we will make an announcement with direct links.
